RYELAND – ECLIPSE (COMING SOON)

Ryeland - Eclipse Artwork HD 800x800px

After a long and eventful summer touring Europe and the Southern Hemisphere, Ryeland locked himself away in his studio for the winter months and has finally emerged with some brand new material.
‘Eclipse’ is the first in a long line of new productions set for release very soon on his own ‘Ryde Music’ imprint.
Ryeland has remixed for many artists over the last 12 months but decided it was time to focus on maturing his own unique sound, which draws influences from trance, progressive, drum & bass, reggae and electronic music.

“I like to experiment with music, I take inspiration from many sources and I’m not afraid to try new things and push myself beyond my comfort zone”.

The name ‘Eclipse’ embodies the juxtaposition of light and dark within the track. Delicate, oriental sounding plucks and bright chords give way to a pounding kick drum and stabs more commonly associated with the harder styles of the Netherlands, all the while maintaining a gritty, electronic undertone.
Unpredictable yet meticulously calculated by nature, Ryelands productions have always echoed his renowned DJ sets and vice-versa, his ability to seamlessly chop and change between underground and big-room sounds is sure to make you ‘put your hands up’ as the hook-line would suggest.
The single is set for release on the 02.02.14 exclusively on Beatport and  then 16.02.14 on iTunes & everywhere else.
